Part time guest concierge/ job description:

As a Spa Concierge at MISSION Day Spa, you will greet guests to a luxurious spa environment, maintain guest and group accounts, assist with facility orientation, and actively work to provide guests with a relaxing spa experience. You will be responsible for ensuring complete client and member satisfaction by providing full guidance and consultation in scheduling, confirmation, and check-out procedures.


Your duties will include:


- Being the initial and complete source of information regarding all available spa treatments and retail goods

- Maintaining a sense of order and efficiency for spa operations via proper scheduling of guest and staff appointments and packages

- Attending product knowledge training

- Checking in/out spa guests and dealing with guest issues

- Completing daily therapist appointment schedules, updating schedules as needed, and coordinating with therapists

- Maintaining cleanliness of reception and guest relaxation areas, and performing general housekeeping duties

- Following all spa opening/closing procedures and accounting procedures, handling and balancing all payment transactions

- Assisting with scheduled retail inventory

- Handling all billing and point-of-sale functions for spa services, retail sales, and Spa Party sales

- Ensuring a pleasant visit for each guest

- Assisting with special projects/events as requested

- Working as a team with front desk concierges, back of spa therapists

- Being upbeat, outgoing, and having fun!




- High school diploma or equivalent

- One-year work experience in a related field (spa, hospitality, medical, salon, retail, front desk) required

- Ability to deal with untimely guests - required

- Availability to work weekends and holidays - required

- Ability to maintain a regular schedule, with two days between Monday and Friday, and flexible shifts - required

- Typing, computer, and basic math skills - required

- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Google Chrome, and computers in general - required

- Effective communication skills in English - required

- Bilingual in Spanish or other languages - preferred

- Ability to effectively present detailed information both verbally and in written form, in-person and over the phone, to guests and employees throughout the organization - required

- Excellent communication, organizational skills, and common sense - required

- Basic conflict resolution skills - preferred

- Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50lbs - required

- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, crouch, stoop, kneel, and crawl - required

- Ability to communicate by phone - required

- Good organizational skills - required

- Willingness to make every guest visit an experience of a lifetime - required

- Attendance of product knowledge training and departmental meetings - required

- Ability to multi-task and deal with last minute changes - required

- Participation in monthly events when required

- First Aid and CPR training - preferred

- "Can-Do" attitude a must

- Successful completion of the practical interview process where you'll get to see different parts of what the day-to-day job entails is required.
