🌿 SPA THERAPIST / MASSAGE THERAPIST DUTIES Client Care & Treatment Delivery
•Perform high-quality massages & spa services customized to guest needs (Swedish, deep tissue, prenatal, lymphatic, spa facials etc.)
•Incorporate Ayurvedic principles and techniques when appropriate
•Provide oncology-informed
bodywork with sensitivity and skill (if certified)
•Conduct thorough consultations to assess client needs and contraindications
•Maintain clean, calming, and well-prepared treatment spaceProfessional Conduct
•Arrive early, prepared, and grounded before each shift•Chart SOAP notes after each treatment
•Uphold confidentiality and professional boundaries
•Offer wellness recommendations post-treatment (e.g., oils, hydration, breathwork)
Team & Facility Responsibilities
•Assist with laundry rotation and tidying shared spaces
•Restock linens, oils, and supplies in treatment rooms
•Support spa events or community healing offerings when available
•Report maintenance needs or client concerns promptly
✨ ESTHETICIAN DUTIES
Treatment Excellence
• Perform facials, waxing, tinting, and skin therapy tailored to individual needs
• Specialize in oncology-informed facials and sensitive-skin treatments
• Recommend holistic home care aligned with spa’s product line (e.g., Ayurvedic, plant-based)
• Ensure equipment and treatment areas meet hygiene standards
Client Consultation & Education
• Conduct in-depth skin assessments and wellness intake
• Document all services and skin progress
• Educate clients on ingredients, skincare routines, and self-care rituals
• Encourage rebooking and personalized treatment plans
Collaboration & Maintenance
• Keep treatment room fully stocked and sanitized
• Participate in monthly team meetings and ongoing education
• Share insights on new trends, ingredients, or techniques relevant to the spa’s ethos
• Support concierge team when needed with product suggestions or tours
🌸 CONCIERGE / FRONT DESK DUTIES
Client Experience & Booking
• Warmly welcome every guest with hospitality and presence
• Manage online and phone bookings using MangoMint (or current system)
• Check clients in/out, process payments, and upsell enhancements or products
• Confirm daily appointments and ensure all pre-arrival paperwork is completed
• Guide first-time guests through spa policies and offerings
Administrative Support
• Monitor client intake forms and flag any health concerns for therapists
• Maintain accurate and organized client records
• Support gift card sales and promotional campaigns
• Respond promptly to voicemails, emails, and DM inquiries
Spa Environment & Team Support
• Keep front-of-house tidy, stocked, and reflective of spa brand aesthetics
• Coordinate flow of service providers and treatment room availability
• Prepare refreshments or signature teas for guests
• Communicate clearly with therapists about special needs or VIP clients
